Curriculum

At Somerset Academy West Floida, we deliver a rigorous and dynamic curriculum guided by Florida's Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (BEST) Standards, ensuring every student develops essential skills in literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking. Through engaging, standards-aligned instruction, our students are not only challenged academically but also inspired to explore and apply their learning in real-world contexts. Immersed in enriching activities that extend beyond the classroom, they grow as independent thinkers, collaborative problem-solvers, and lifelong learners prepared for success in school and beyond.

The school fully implemented the B.E.S.T. Standards for Reading, Language Arts, and Math. We follow the Florida's State Academic Standards for Science for Science and Florida's State Academic Standards for Social Studies for Social Studies.
